Wreckless Strangers Define Their Evolution with A Fearless and Collaborative New Album, Dirty Souls
SAN FRANCISCO, CA – March 27, 2026… 'Ameri-Cali Rock' collective Wreckless Strangers cap off a season of bold releases with the arrival of their fourth studio album, Dirty Souls, out digitally today. The record has wasted no time making its mark, landing at number one on the CDX Surging & Emerging chart.
Produced by four-time GRAMMY®-winning engineer Dave Way (Michael Jackson, Paul McCartney, Sheryl Crow, and Foo Fighters) and mixed by Sean Beresford (Third Eye Blind, Chuck Prophet, Jeff Bridges, and Vanessa Carlton), the six-track project is the San Francisco sextet's most raw and unfiltered body of work to date — a fearless showcase of the storytelling, genre-blending musicianship, and collaborative spirit that have long defined the band.
Lead singers Amber Morris and David Noble anchor Dirty Souls with their signature soaring harmonies, while the full band weaves together classic rock, Americana, soul, folk, and R&B into the rich, lived-in sound their fans know as 'Ameri-Cali Rock.' Each track on the album carves out its own emotional and sonic territory, forming a cohesive arc that reflects on the universal roads we all travel.
“The songwriting on this album is among the most intimate and personal to date,” shares the band. “It explores themes of relationships, loss, empowerment, and perseverance.”
Notably, "Downstream" marks a vulnerable shift in the band's palette, showcasing a lush, contemplative folk sound and featuring Jason Crosby on violin and piano. It's a hopeful anthem reflecting on loss and the universal truth that we all end up in the same place.
Rounding out the record alongside previously released singles "Dirty Soul" and "The Runaround" are the Americana grit of "Gimme The Gold," the soulful swagger of "Destiny's Dance," and funk-drenched closer "Lost Again.” Together, six songs paint the full spectrum of what Wreckless Strangers do best.
Dirty Souls is available now on all digital streaming platforms.

About Wreckless Strangers
Wreckless Strangers is a collective of friends and musicians carrying the torch for San Francisco’s grand rock ‘n’ roll tradition. Their unique blend of “Ameri-Cali Soul” melds the contemporary blues stylings of Bonnie Raitt and Boz Scaggs; the songwriting sensibilities of Sons of Champlin and Fleetwood Mac; the swashbuckling Americana of the Lost Planet Airmen and Peter Rowan; and the funk of Sly Stone and Tower of Power with a dash of Grateful Dead and Jefferson Airplane for flavor and unpredictability. With soaring vocal harmonies and burning instrumental improvisation framed in concise and poignant original songwriting, Wreckless Strangers seek to honor and carry forth the brand of free-spirited musical fun and adventure that defines the Bay Area.
The band features Amber Morris on lead vocals; David Noble on lead guitar, lead vocals; Joshua Zucker on bass, vocals; Mick Hellman on drums, vocals; Rob Anderson on guitar, vocals; and Fletcher Nielsen on keys. The band was recently invited to perform live on Nashville’s famed Americana Roots radio station, WMOT, and will perform at NAMM in Southern California in January.
