Friendship Commanders and Nashville Session Drummer Jerry Roe Joins SONOR As Latest Endorsed Artist

MOUNT JULIET, TN - July 9, 2025 — SONOR Drums proudly welcomes acclaimed Nashville-based drummer Jerry Roe to its growing roster of endorsed artists. A sought-after session musician and live performer, Roe brings years of experience seamlessly switching between heavy rock, commercial country, and pop both in the studio and on the road.

A third-generation musician and Nashville native, Jerry Roe has carved out a dynamic and multifaceted career. In addition to his session work with chart-topping artists such as Morgan Wallen, Riley Green, Bailey Zimmerman, Cody Johnson, Keith Urban, Luke Combs, Lee Ann Womack, Hardy, Rodney Crowell, and Molly Tuttle, Roe is also the drummer and co-founder of the heavy, melodic sludge-punk duo Friendship Commanders, who tour extensively across the U.S. and beyond.

Roe has selected the SONOR SQ2 Series, Vintage Series, and Kompressor Snare Series as his instruments of choice, aligning with his high standards for tone, durability, and design.

“Many of the drummers I looked up to as a younger musician played and got great tones out of SONOR drums,” says Roe. “They are currently the best and only great-sounding mass-produced drums currently made! The instruments are beautiful.”

With his deep respect for the craft and an ear for tone shaped by years in the studio and on the road, Jerry Roe represents the spirit of musical excellence that defines the SONOR artist family.
