The Texas chart leader and Americana breakout artist joins Mac McAnally, Styx, Foreigner, Cheap Trick, and more on Nexstar’s Live New Year's Eve Party
Nashville, TN…Bri Bagwell will take center stage as one of the featured performers on The Coast-to-Coast Countdown 2026, a live, multi-city New Year’s Eve broadcast airing nationwide.
Bagwell will appear alongside legendary acts including Styx, Foreigner, Cheap Trick, .38 Special, UB40, The Marshall Tucker Band, Kevin Cronin (of REO Speedwagon), and acclaimed singer-songwriter and Coral Refer Band leader Mac McAnally. Among the high-profile lineup, Bagwell stands out as the only female performer and only country artist featured in the broadcast, underscoring her growing national profile.
A dominant force in the Texas Country scene, Bagwell holds the record for the most No. 1 singles in Texas radio history by any female artist. While deeply rooted in country music, she is increasingly expanding her reach into Americana, with Parade Magazine recently highlighting Bagwell as a top emerging artist in the genre.
The Coast-to-Coast Countdown 2026 will be produced live from four iconic U.S. locations, with performances, fireworks, and large-scale celebrations unfolding simultaneously across multiple time zones:
New York City, featuring the iconic midnight ball drop
Dallas, highlighted by a fireworks and drone show from Reunion Tower
Phoenix, broadcasting live from Rawhide Western Town near Gila River Resorts and Casinos
Las Vegas, capped by a 10-minute fireworks spectacular launched from the rooftops of nine Strip hotels
Designed as a rolling celebration, the broadcast moves westward through each time zone, extending the New Year’s Eve experience well past midnight and blending live music, fireworks, and communal sing-along moments from artists whose songs span generations. Bagwell will be performing from the Dallas location.
