Blundell combined his real-world performance experience touring with HERCULES’ legendary engineering to create a truly innovative product for percussionists and audio professionals alike. 

The DG177B(B) clamps directly onto drum or cymbal stands, reducing floor clutter while providing stable, adaptable microphone positioning and a sleek design. Its modular system features three arm sections in varying lengths—200 mm, 300 mm, and 400 mm—which can be configured into one-, two-, or three-arm setups to accommodate different recording and performance needs. A secure Power Lock Lever ensures a firm connection, while the system's multi-angle adjustment allows for microphone placement beyond the limitations of conventional mic stands.

The system features a built-in 3/8" microphone thread, a 3/8" to 5/8" thread adapter, and an adaptive desk/tube clamp, with a clamping range of 15–33 mm (0.6"–1.3") and a load capacity of 2 kg (4.4 lbs.). Ideal for drummers, recording engineers, and live sound professionals, the DG177B offers a practical solution for close-miking drum kits and building efficient, complex microphone setups.
