Wreckless Strangers Release Gritty Music Video For Their New Single, “Dirty Soul”
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (FEBRUARY 6, 2026) — San Francisco-based sextet Wreckless Strangers unveil the official visual companion for their latest single, “Dirty Soul,” an extension of the band’s raw, emotionally charged storytelling. In the group’s seventh collaboration with director Jason Lee Denton, the piece captures the song’s untamed spirit through stylized imagery that echoes its emotional depth.
Known for their rich blend of rock, Americana, soul, and R&B, often dubbed Ameri-Cali Rock, Wreckless Strangers lean into a visually driven narrative that captures the essence of “Dirty Soul.” Written by Amber Morris, Joshua Zucker, and the late Austin de Lone, the track serves as the title song from the band’s forthcoming EP, Dirty Souls, with GRAMMY Award–winning producer Dave Way and engineer Sean Beresford shaping a cohesive sonic foundation that carries seamlessly into the optic world and reinforces the band’s deep connection to San Francisco’s storied rock and soul lineage.
“‘Dirty Soul’ is about patience, acceptance, and loving fiercely without losing yourself,” shares lead vocalist Amber Morris. “The video allowed us to explore those themes visually and sit with the messiness of that kind of love in a very honest way.”
The “Dirty Soul” music video arrives as Wreckless Strangers prepare to digitally release their second EP single, “The Runaround,” written by lead vocalist David Noble, on February 27, ahead of the band’s third EP, set for digital release on March 27. Dirty Souls is the band’s most raw and unfiltered body of work to date, drawing inspiration from classic rock touchstones of the ’70s and ’80s while staying rooted in their signature Americana, soul, and R&B blend.
