MADAM RADAR RELEASES ELECTRIFYING LIVE PERFORMANCE VIDEO FOR "CAROLINA"

First Visual From Upcoming "Live From Antone's" Album Captures the Austin Americana Rock Band at Their Most Powerful

AUSTIN, TX (July 17, 2026)...Austin-based Americana rock band Madam Radar has released the official live performance video for "Carolina," filmed during the band's sold-out performance at Austin's legendary Antone's Nightclub. The video captures the energy, chemistry, and four-part harmonies that have become the band's trademark while offering fans their first visual glimpse into their forthcoming live album, Live From Antone's.

"Carolina" has been part of Madam Radar's identity since the band's earliest days. Written by bassist and vocalist Violet Lea shortly after joining the group a decade ago, the song famously came to her in a dream—with all four vocal parts already in place. Since then, it has become a fan favorite thanks to its playful themes of adventure, infectious hooks, and soaring harmonies.

"'Carolina' has been with us almost from the start," says Lea. "It felt like the song arrived fully formed, and over the years it's grown right alongside us as a band. It felt like the perfect song to introduce this live record."

The newly released video showcases one of the band's most unforgettable live moments, opening with a dramatic a cappella chorus that proved so powerful it inspired the reimagined studio version featured on Madam Radar's latest album, MOTEL. Captured before a packed house at the iconic "Home of the Blues," the performance highlights the dynamic stage presence and musical chemistry that have earned the quartet the title of one of the must-see live acts out of Austin.

ABOUT MADAM RADAR
Madam Radar is a high-energy Texas-bred Americana rock band and a family affair. Known for their infectious 4-part harmonies, hard-hitting guitar solos, and memorable original songs, the band is comprised of brother/sister, Kelly Green (lead guitar/vocals) and Kody Lee (drums/vocals), and each of their spouses Jace Cadle (rhythm guitar/vocals) and Violet Lea (bass/vocals). Four formidable musicians, vocalists, and songwriters in their own right, together Kelly, Jace, Kody, and Violet deliver a dynamic fueled by Texas soul and undeniable chemistry. The Austin-based quartet has shared the stage with Rock & Roll icons and Texas legends alike, including Bon Jovi, Lukas Nelson, 3 Doors Down, Candlebox, Hayes Carll, Jack Ingram, Arc Angels, Shinyribs, and Jackie Venson. They are a two-time Sonic Guild (formerly Black Fret) Grant recipient and were the first Austin-based band to perform at the Moody Center arena in Austin, TX. Their latest album, MOTEL, produced by GRAMMY-winner Steve Berlin of Los Lobos, captures nearly a decade of life on the road — a love letter to late nights, long highways, and the stories you write along the way.
