LR Baggs Releases Americana Video Sessions Featuring Chance McCoy
NASHVILLE, TN (NOVEMBER 30, 2018) … The 2018 Americana Video Sessions from acoustic amplification company, LR Baggs, continue with the release of three new videos featuring Grammy Award-winning indie folk musician Chance McCoy.
Filmed at the LR Baggs Soundcheck studio in Nashville during AmericanaFest 2018, McCoy performs the rousing “Jitterbug Bayou,” soulful “The Shape I’m In,” and somberly beautiful “Lizard In The Spring” with Kellen Wenrich on bass and fiddle and Lemuel Hayes on drums.
On this session, a variety of LR Baggs products are featured, including the
Anthem pickup and violin pickup. LR Baggs will be rolling out six more video sessions from an array of amazing Americana artists through the end of the year and into early 2019. LR Baggs sessions have reached over four million combined views on YouTube this year.

About Chance McCoy:
A Grammy-Award winning indie folk musician from West Virginia, Chance McCoy has a deep love for the traditional ways of the mountaineer that shines in his music with Old Crow Medicine Show and as a solo artist. After studying with old master musicians from the Appalachian Mountains, McCoy went on to win the fiddle, banjo, and dulcimer championships in his home state. Flash forward to 2012, the struggling-to-survive music teacher got the cold call of a lifetime when Old Crow Medicine Show invited him to join the legendary Americana band of “Wagon Wheel” fame.
McCoy's first album with OCMS, Remedy, where he debuted his talents as a songwriter, singer and instrumentalist, earned the band a Grammy for best folk album. After touring with artists such as Mumford and Sons, The Lumineers, Willie Nelson, Sturgill Simpson, Margo Price, and other luminaries, he turned his focus towards making his first solo record. His first LP Wander Wide, set to be released in 2019, is a collection of masterfully written songs woven with threads of folk, indie, and rock, with pop hooks laden throughout. An incredibly creative take on the modern singer-songwriter, each song is written specifically for its unique placement on the album, unfolding into different landscapes of light and shade as it takes the listener on a musical journey.
