"Silver Springs" - A Captivating Journey Through Longing and Reflection

San Francisco, CA, July 14, 2023…Highway Wolf, the ingenious new musical project led by Mick Hellman (Wreckless Strangers, Marco & the Polos, The Go to Hell Man Band), is proud to announce the release of "Silver Springs." Collaborating with creative partners Tal Morris and Amber Morris, Mick has crafted a musical experience that reaches deep into the realms of emotion and imagination.

This single is the first glimpse into the highly anticipated record, "Purdie's Dream," a collection of soul-stirring covers that delve into Mick's formative years. Produced by Tal Morris and Amber Morris, with Mick Hellman as executive producer, "Purdie's Dream" features a talented ensemble of Bay Area Musicians, Mick’s friends and family, including Austin de Lone, Barbara Higbie, Dave Zirbel, Joshua Zucker, Tal Morris, Amber Morris, Kevin Hayes, Laurel Hellman, Ryann Morris, and Gabriella de la Cruz.

The songs on “Purdie’s Dream” were selected because of their unique stories and the various emotional themes. Originally penned by Stevie Nicks, “Silver Springs is a poignant reflection on the haunting power of longing and lingering memories of a past relationship. The five-song project, “Purdie’s Dream,” is concluded by “Silver Springs.”
