Changing Perceptions: Highway Wolf Shines Light on Howling Woods Farm

San Francisco, CA | October 13, 2025… Highway Wolf’s Howling for a Cause series continues with October’s spotlight on Howling Woods Farm, a New Jersey-based sanctuary and educational facility dedicated to wolfdogs. Since 2005, the organization has provided a safe haven for rescued wolfdogs while offering immersive tours and community outreach programs that challenge long-standing myths about wolves and wolfdogs.

In addition to rescue and sanctuary work, Howling Woods Farm actively engages the public through guided tours, school visits, and ambassador animal appearances at community events. These efforts foster a deeper understanding of wolf behavior, ecology, and conservation, while inspiring respect for animals that are too often misunderstood.

Highway Wolf is donating 100% of the proceeds from purchases of their Howling Woods Farm “Protect the Pack” Spotlight T-Shirt directly to the sanctuary. “What we loved most about Howling Woods Farm is the way they bring their mission into the community,” says Mick Hellman. “Through their ambassador animals, they’re giving people the chance to meet wolfdogs up close and see beyond the ‘big bad wolf’ story. That kind of connection changes perceptions, and it’s exactly why we’re proud to highlight them this month.” Highway Wolf invites music fans and wildlife advocates to support Howling Woods Farm by getting involved, spreading the word, or contributing directly to their mission.
