Bri Bagwell Releases Cover to “After the Fire is Gone” in Dedication to Loretta Lynn

NASHVILLE, TN, November 7, 2022… In dedication to the late Loretta Lynn, singer-songwriter Bri Bagwell releases a cover of “After the Fire is Gone” with boyfriend, Paul Eason. Bagwell and Eason add a modern twist with their unique voices to the beloved classic by Loretta Lynn and Conway Twitty.

Originally started as just a fun project during Covid in 2021, Bri decided to continue mastering the song for release in 2022. However, the unfortunate news of Loretta Lynn’s passing was announced prior to the song’s release. Bri and Paul decided to proceed with the single in honor of Loretta as a tribute to her incredible talents. Bagwell shares, “Loretta Lynn was a force. To me, her songs were a mixture of bravery and charm, and I also always had a fondness for her duets with Conway Twitty.” She continues, “I, like everyone else, was really upset when I heard the news of Loretta's recent passing. We decided to continue on with the release of the tune as a way to honor her memory.”

Almost entirely recorded and produced in the comfort of their own home, Bri and Paul worked excitedly on perfecting the duet. Guitars, bass, and vocals are credited to Eason in addition to producing and editing the single. While the remainder of the instrumentals were taped by friends in different cities. Bri adds, “I hope you enjoy our modern twist on the classic duet, "After The Fire Is Gone."

Bri Bagwell is currently on tour and available for interviews.
