Americana Band Madam Radar Turns Heads with “The Show Must Go On”

A Bold, Harmony-Driven Anthem From One of Austin’s Most Dynamic Live Bands

AUSTIN, TX (May 1, 2026)...Austin-based Americana rock band Madam Radar is stepping into the national Americana spotlight with their new single, “The Show Must Go On,” out May 1. Bursting with fiery four-part harmonies, soaring lead guitar, and a high-energy vocal trade-off between all four members, the track serves as a bold introduction to a band whose sound is as dynamic as their story.

And that story is uniquely their own. Madam Radar is a true family band—composed of siblings Kelly Green (lead guitar/vocals) and Kody Lee (drums/vocals), alongside their spouses Jace Cadle (rhythm guitar/vocals) and Violet Lea (bass/vocals). With two married couples and a brother-sister core, the band’s chemistry runs deeper than most, translating into an undeniable onstage connection and a rare format where all four members seamlessly trade lead vocals. The result is a kaleidoscopic, harmony-driven sound that feels both tightly knit and wildly alive.

“Our song ‘The Show Must Go On’ was written about being a touring band and overcoming all of the obstacles we face on any given day,” the band shares. “From hurricanes to broken-down buses, we always stand united and find a way to continue forward. This song is a celebration of the miles we’ve traveled and all of the incredible moments along the way. ‘The Show Must Go On’ isn’t just our motto, it’s our lives in a song.”

Featured on their latest album MOTEL, produced by GRAMMY-winner Steve Berlin (Los Lobos) and mixed by Michael Brauer (Coldplay, John Mayer), the single captures the heart of Madam Radar’s identity: Texas soul, rock ’n’ roll swagger, and a live energy that’s earned them stages alongside Bon Jovi, 3 Doors Down, Jack Ingram and more. Their upcoming shows include notable venues such as The Heights Theater in Houston (May 1), The Kessler in Dallas (May 2), the Paramount Gala in Austin with Lukas Nelson (May 9), and Cannery Hall in Nashville (June 19). As they make their introduction to the Americana world, Madam Radar isn’t just another band to watch, they’re a family affair you won’t forget.
